Charlotte’s Mobility Needs
The City of Charlotte created two reports that identifies all of Charlotte's mobility needs, over 2,000 projects. The Identified Mobility Opportunities is a 85-page report breaking down each project and the Charlotte Mobility Investment Blueprint a 15-page summary.
Mobility Opportunities
Mobility opportunities were divided into four categories Road, Transit, Pedestrian and Micromobility. These opportunities were identified using data-driven analysis, based on the Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan, the Strategic Mobility Plan, North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan, and Charlotte Future 2040 Community Area Plans.
