Dante Anderson, newly elected District 1 Charlotte City Councilwoman, joins Bryan Holladay for the Charlotte Area Chamber’s Public Policy October Committee Meeting. Wednesday, October 12, at 5:00pm. This will be an informal conversation and a great opportunity to get to know Dante. Learn why she decided to run for City Council and what her vision is for District 1 and Charlotte. Councilwoman Dante Anderson
Dante Anderson is a native of South Charlotte, she attended CMS schools, has a Bachelor at MIT and MBA from Harvard. She brings the experience of having worked and lived in various metropolitan areas, including the northeast and southern regions of the country. Dante believes that Charlotte can meet the challenges of a growing city, while keeping its soul and charm intact.
Anderson’s desire is to create Charlotte as a destination of choice for new families and young professionals. In addition, for Charlotte to be attractive as a corporate location, through providing workforce pipelines, tech talent, safe neighborhoods, and good schools.
